Tell us about your family: My parents divorced when I was 4 years old. I grew up with my mother. It was only until college that my father came out to me and we started developing a relationship. Today, I feel like we are closer than we have ever been.
What is your favorite hobby, sport or activity? I sing in a group at the University I attend, I also love to dance.
Do you participate in any COLAGE activities, events or programs? Which ones? Do you like them? Why? There are not a lot available in my area. When I was younger, I know I would had been an active participant because the COLAGE program gives so much insight and helps with understanding.
What is the hardest thing about having gay, lesbian, bisexual and/or transgender parent/s? People have a tendency to judge very easily when they find out.
What's the best thing about having gay, lesbian, bisexual and/or transgender parent/s? By growing up with a gay father, I have learned to be less judgmental and more accepting of people different from me. Honestly, it has impacted my life more so in a positive way!
