20th Anniversary

Earlybird registration for youth entering 3rd grade and older is available through April 30th, 2010.

The COLAGE daily program includes recreational activities, peer workshops, creative expression activities, leadership development, and youth empowerment that allow participants to gain confidence and pride, make new friends, express themselves creatively, and have a lot of fun. The COLAGE Family Week staff is an enthusiastic team of adults who share the experience of having an LGBTQ parent and create a fun and safe environment for all of our youth participants. Last summer over 200 youth ages 8-18 and more than 30 adult volunteers participated in the COLAGE Family Week program creating a vibrant community of people who have LGBTQ parents unlike any other.

Are you 18 and over and have one or more LGBTQ parent or guardian? Do you enjoy working with youth? Apply to join the COLAGE Family Week staff!

Download a staff application here.

For more information, please email Bethany Lockhart, National Program Coordinator at bethany@colage.org.

During Family Week 2010 COLAGE sponsors an independent program for youth in 3rd grade and older with one or more LGBTQ parent/s. Family Equality Council will offer education and entertainment for families and children under the age of 8. If you would like more information on Family Equality Councils programming please visit their website.

WHAT PARENTS AND YOUTH ARE SAYING about their experience with COLAGE during Family Week:

"COLAGE is what my two children look forward to all year long. They would be lost here without you." Parent of two COLAGE youth.

"COLAGE, I don't know what I would've done without you. I feel way more connected than I would be if I didn't have your support." Debra, COLAGE Family Week participant.

"COLAGE makes a big difference in my children's lives, and hence, in my life. Thank you for being here." Parent of three COLAGE youth.
