DEDICATE YOUR GIFT TO A COLAGE SPECIAL FUND

family camp*   The Lee Dubin Memorial Scholarship fund provides post-secondary students who have one or more LGBT parent or guardian and fight for LGBT family rights a chance to make the cost of school more affordable.   $1000 provides one student with a Lee Dubin Memorial Scholarship award.

*   The Felicia Park Rogers Internship Program allows a high school or college-aged student the opportunity to work in the national COLAGE office in San Francisco for 10 weeks.   Each intern is compensated with a stipend of $2000.

*   The COLAGE Training and Travel Fund. COLAGE staff travel far and wide to fulfill our mission.   Your gift of $3000 enables 2 COLAGE staff and 2 volunteer facilitators to provide dynamic leadership and activism training and assistance to a chapter, local LGBT parent and family group or   youth organizing conference for a weekend. Frequent flier miles also welcome.

*   The COLAGE Chapter Fund supports the growth and maintenance of our vibrant and active local Chapters. The fund accepts donations ear-marked for specific chapters and will soon provide financial assistance to chapters undergoing leadership transition and/or chapter growth. Your gift of $5000 could equip a chapter with supplies and leadership for 6 months, depending on location, size, and political environment.

*   The Marcelle Cook-Daniels Memorial Fund, currently holding $10,000, serves as a reserve fund for COLAGE. Marcelle Y. Cook-Daniels died at age 40 on April 21, 2000 as a result of suicide following a lifelong battle with clinical depression. A quiet but very dedicated and principled activist, he was known for his work in raising awareness about transgender and lesbian/gay people and for his efforts to promote and support his family values of love, commitment, honesty, openness, and public service. Interviews and/or photographs of him appear in the "Love Makes A Family" book and tour; Dawn Atkin's book "Looking Queer: Body Image and Identity in Lesbian, Bisexual, Gay and Transgender Communities," and "In The Family" magazine. As a parent, he was an active supporter of COLAGE and also provided material and volunteer support to the Transgender Aging Network, four True Spirit conferences, and The American Boyz. Marcelle's partner Loree Cook-Daniels and son Kai dedicated this fund to COLAGE in his memory. New donations to the Marcelle Cook-Daniels fund are welcome at any time.
