The COLAGE Youth Leadership and Action Program brings together high school and college-aged youth who have one or more lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender parent to build a peer community. Each year the group selects one action project that allows the youth to gain activism skills and raise awareness about their experiences and their families. In its inaugural year the group focused on increasing the visibility of people with LGBT parents through an educational poster series and art exhibit.

That's So Gay Exhibit

Exhibit
In addition to the poster series, we created our unique exhibit: That's So Gay: Art by Youth with LGBT Parents. The first exhibit of its kind, That's So Gay includes images, text, and art by youth with LGBT parents that attempt to provide a glimpse into the lives and experiences of children of queer families. more >
