COLAGEr, Queerspawn
Both “COLAGEr” and “queerpsawn” refer to some who has one or more lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and/or queer parent/caregiver. “Queerspawn” was coined by Stefan Lynch in 1995.
Second Gen
Shorthand for “second generation”. A person who is LGBTQ+ and has one or more LGBTQ+ parent/caregiver.
PTP
Shorthand for “People with Trans Parents”. A person with one or more transgender or nonbinary parent/caregiver.
GOLAGEr
A person with a lesbain, gay, bisexual, transgender, and/or queer grandparent who helped raise them.
Bothie
A person who has at least two LGBTQ+ parents who co-parent and/or share custody but are not partners or spouses with each other.
Culturally Queer
The feeling shared by many people with LGBTQ+ parents that they grew up immersed in queer culture, including traditions, celebrations, media, and language.
