Jean Azar-Tanguay

Board Member

Jean Azar-Tanguay (she/her) is the daughter of two gay men from Boston, MA. She has been involved with COLAGE for over 10 years as a camper, staff member, youth action board member, and now board member. With the support of COLAGE, Jean developed a curriculum for educators on how to make school environments more inclusive for LGBTQ+ youth and families, ultimately earning her Girl Scouts Gold Award for the project. Jean is currently a student at the University of Richmond, working towards a career in health care where she hopes to continue advocating for LGBTQ+ folks’ and families’ rights to safe and equitable medical care.
